I'm back again.

My weight has been such a struglle the last 10 years or so, so different to my life before that where I could eat what I wanted and saty thin. It sucks not being able to be like that anymore.

Today I am 97.1 kilos. Its ok though, After a hip operation and lack of excercise and not the greatest diet i dont think thats all too bad.

I am going to start to get a routine back, put some excercise in my life and basically try to get healthier and fitter. I'm certainly not getting any younger so there is no time like now to do it. I am not following any diet, just going ot try to eat a balanced diet and incorperate some excercise. I'll continue reading the gabriel method also, have found that book good so far.

My measurements:

My goals for this week are to just start. Start eating less take away, start some form of excercise, even if i only do somethign once. Just start.

almost 2 weeks post hip op and feeling good. hip still a little sore, especially if I overdo it but i can walk fine and this week I am allowed to start cycling/swimming as i feel up to it.

today went for a walk, 3 laps of the path at our neghbouring park.

I am in the first chapter of the gabriel method too. Very interesting reading.

Well Santa brought me a wii fit for Christmas!

It is certainly fun and is light excercise (though some of the wii sports is pretty full on and really gets a sweat going!) and it weighs you, tests your BMI, your balance your fitness etc.

So wii fit tells me I am 92.4 kilos. Which is about right late last week I was hovering in the high 92's so on the way back down. Not dieting just trying to listen to the body. Too much drinking due to Christmas festivities etc but still trying to watch intake etc so somethign has worked anyway!

I'm a bit concerned about weighing myself so regularly with the wii fit, not sure I can handle being told everyday I am overweight! LOL

OH and some really positive news! I bought and wore 2 different dresses over the last week! Yes me ina dress! I NEVER wear dresses. Actually I have been the hubby for over 10 years and we chatted and realised in all that time he has NEVER seen me in a dress! I used to wear skirts/dresses occasionally pre kids when I was really skinny but since getting bigger I felt they were completely ourt of bounds but I was wrong!

I attended a Christmas bbq a week or so ago and there quite a few girls in skirts and dresses of various shapes/sizes, some bigger than me and I really thought they ALL looked gorgeous! So I took the plunge!

Was able to go to a photo shoot yesterday, was a good test, went fine, had pain when getting form sitting to standing on the beach and when sand gave way as it does, under my left foot, sharp quick pain in the groin but otherwise just the mild pain that seems ot always be there now.
Good news.

Ging to go see the physio linked to the surgeon, hoping I can swim and cycle between now and the surgery! Swimming is looking good. Went to the shops today and walked around a bit, again not too bad. Seems the worst pain has passed now.

weighed in this morning because I am curious. 92.6 kilos.

am OK with that. Weight is not everything, how I feel is more important. While I feel really flat about not being able to excercise and about being quite house bound and restricted mobility wise I feel OK about my physical self today.
At the same time i am cross at my body too. It was doing such a good job with all the excercisem, getting fitter, feeling good! Then this stupid hip issue!

I had a very down day yesterday. Realised how much this hip effects my life. I cant do so much of what I enjoy doing. I cant excercise, cant run, swim cycle yet. Cant do any personal trianing. Cant garden. Cant work on house projects. Cant even clean the house (OK so I'm, not too upset by that! LOL)

So yes, yesterday was focused on all the things I CAN'T do. When you are physically impaired and stuck in the house and in pain I guess there are going to be many times I have 'CAN'T' days.

I'm going to try turn it inot 'CAN' thoughts instead.

I can cook.
I can get on top of all clients work (just have to take my time in intervals at this computer).
I can read a book (something I haven't done for a LONG time).

Have a date with the OS - Jan 29th. They said we'll get paperwork moving in the mean time for surgery too so that should be soon after that date.

Pain is OK at present as I am basically doing NOTHING! I have had my niece spend the last 3-4 days with me to help round the house and give me time to completely rest. Sleeping is annoying as I wake achy and cant sleep on my left hand side as it hurts too much.

At least we have a date now.

I am going to research what I CAN do as i dont want to bcome completely unfit and def don't want to gain weight during this period.

Went back to physio, xrays show what appears to be a tear in the labrum? labral tear? the cartliage around the hip socket. This needs surgery to repair so have been referred to an orthapedic surgeon for review.

Feeling a bit flat as at present I am on rest. Cant even walk to the milkbar or i will be in a lot of pain. sitting at the computer causes pain, laying down causes pain. This does suck!

Today I went out did a 22 km cycle with a friend, we rode to Jells Park and rode around the 5km lap I intend to start running around then rode back home. Not entirely sure we got the lap right but know for sure there are some decent LONG hills involved in it! I am looking forward to when I can run the lap without having to stop! If the weather is good I intend doing my first go at it tomorrow morning.

Anyone in melbourne keen to join me for the 5km run? I don't run fast and would love to find someone who would like to do it with me, entering these events with others is more fun and less scary than doing it on your own :)

mmmm long time no post hey!

Well I have BIG BIG news!

I am officially NEVER EVER going on a diet EVER again!

huh? yes thats right, you have read right.

Diets are a proven way to GAIN weight really. Seriously think to yourself, how many people do YOU personally know including yourself who have went 'on a diet' and succeeded LONG TERM? for me its maybe 1 person! the rest have either regained what they lost and most have regained more or simply had no change at all.

I'm sick of being obsessed by how much I weigh and sick of being ruled by what I should and shouldn't eat.

I LIKE food... heck actually I LOVE food and I want to be able to enjoy it wihtout GUILT for the rest of my life!

I watched this utube link form a forum today
It resonated with me and actually made me teary... I have a seriously fucked up body image issue and its time I changed that!!



BTW for records sake. I am getting 'coaching' more about that in another thread but I last weighed in 2 weeks ago at 92.8.... yep my dieting was helping me GAIN yet again! I'm not sure when I will weigh next, not making any decisions or giving that too much thought at present!

oh my poor aching legs :( I am sore today. Did a really hard work out on Thursday at bootcamp, sooooo sooooo muich running and sprinting an hill climbs! but it felt good to do it. Todays personal training was hard as even though I rested yesterday my legs are still fatigued from thursdays workout! Tomorrow is another rest day or maybe a cycle something light.

I need to bring the food into a bit better order now though... then the weight shuld start shifting again!

Went for my first swim in ages today. I kkind of suck at freestyle swimming. I can swim lots of laps, but by doing back stroke or breast stroke... freestyle requires more co-ordination... something I dont have a lot of!

So hubby came to the pool with me to teach me how to swim (I was going to pay for a lesson or two but he insists he can teach me)

I did OK I think for my first go. I swam nearly 100 metres without stopping, face in the water breathing to the side properly... took a while but feel I am starting to get it. I swam 8 laps all up, so 400 metres. The triathlon is a 300 metre swim. i have 5 weeks to improve, should hopefully be ok. Going to go again on Friday.

a big day of excercise here!

Back to bootcamp this morning and boy ws that a hard workout, loads of running, lots of lungesm, squats push ups and did i say loads of running? we did hill climbs too. THEN after that I went on a 28 km bike ride with Joey :) We rode on the main road in traffic for more excercie and more practise! So all up I did 3 and a half hours of excercise today! Was good as have a busy week so wont have as much time during the week to get a really good workout in.

I'm off for a well deserved soak in the tub soon!

Really want to try get in 100kms a week if i can.

The best part it was my first commute in traffic!
I am a bit cared of riding in traffic so posted on a cycling forum and they suggested cycling wiht someone else who cycles already, so since dh rides most days and commutes to work etc I figured he'd be good to go with :)
I rode from Noble Park through dandenong in peak hour trafic along princes hwy. was a bit scary but was ok. rode the service lane in parts as princes hwy was so busy!

One step towards commuiting more in general I think!

Today I went on a big bike ride. they have opened the new bike track that goes along the new freeway. I rode from Noble Park to patterson lakes! and back!
It was 30 kms. Took me about 1 hour and 40 or so minutes and I rode faster than normal.

My shins are sore though. I am worried I may be getting shin splints, hope not as they are painful at the moment. I'm going to go no impact other than bootcamp so might stop netball for 2-3 weeks as that seemed to make the pain much worse.

I went to IKEA today and was there for 3-4 hours (dont ask!) so will count 40 minutes of walking in all that also went up and down their front steps (about 30 steps, at least ten times LOL)

My legs and bum are sooooo sore from yesterdays bootcamp. Planned a bath but ran out of time now. If it still hurts this much tomorrow I will have one tomorrow night (aaaahhh radox)

I'll be updating regularly over the coming weeks as I participate in bootcamp.

Bootcamp is being run by my partners personal trainer through a different school group. I got to attend cause I have wanted to do sessions but couldnt afford individual ones just yet.

Today was our first 'real' session and boy was it HARD!!!
There was a LOT of running involved and I did at least 200 sit ups! Lots of lunges, squats etc. Our legs got a real workout today can only assume Mondays session will be an attack on our upper body/arms!

I'm not drinking either for the duration of the bootcamp to get the most weight loss I can get from it. I'm not strictly dieting but am being more aware of what I eat, cutting back take aways and fattier foods. I cant diet though, I dont think I'll ever be a successful dieter. I instead want to make changes I can stick to in the long term.

There are 2 prizes for the bootcamp. one for the most improved fitness and one for the most weight lost. There are a few bigger girls in the group so the weight loss one will be difficult and there is such a variety of fitness levels so wh knows who is in for a chance at that.

It has let me draw on my competitive side though and get motivated more tobe in the running to win either or hey even BOTH! LOL.

My personal goal for the challenge/bootcamp is to finally break under 90 kilos. Preferably be under 89 so that I am more comfortably under 90. That would make me super happy!

I started bootcamp on Monday, and I am sore today!
We didnt even do all that much really! We did more assessing etc. I weighed in on his scales at 94.8 kilos (though it was late morning and I was fully clothed including a jacket) so will be interesting to see what I am at the end of the challenge on his cales.

I feel super motivated and good (after a week or two of health issues this is good!)

I'm challenging myself to 1000 minutes min excercise for May also. Its getting heaps colder at the oment so motivation is sure to wane at times and I have no gym membership anymore so I am left to excercise in the cold! LOL. I will do it though!

February update/overview

Down another 2.3 kilos this month! woohoo going in the right direction still! My current weight is 93.6 kilos.

What I did this month:

- NO ALCOHOL at all! and I feel so much healthier for it! I had drinks last night but am now going to go another month of no drinking since it is def helping my weight loss!

- Excercise. I have had to stop the steps for a while due to shin splints. So now I walk for 1 hour 3-6 days a week and cycle 3-5 days and play netball once a week. Last week my sister and I cycled 38 kms! woohoo, very proud of that! I cycle a min 10 kms each time I head out. I've also been riding the bike wit the kids after school for fun and its a bonus to get osme excercise form it.

What I can improve on:

Eat less take away. This month since I have started working again I have been grabbing a bit too much maccas, kfc etc as the drive thru is just so easy! I need to be oganised and have some fruit and nuts etc in the car to tide me over til I get home.

Neck - 37 cms was 38 cms - 1cms
Boobs - 109 cms was 109cms - same
Waist - 96 cms was 98 cm - 2cms
Tummy - 106 cms was 107 cms - 1cms

January update/overview.

Well i did well really. I am currently 95.9 kilos. So aloss of 2.9 for january. Considering my birthday is in January, we went away to the beach for a holiday for 8 days with the family and some friends had a few other birthdays and it was school holidays the entire time!!

What I did that worked-

- excercised!
I did the steps 3 times each week until the week we went away, then while away I walked the sand dunes at the back beaches each day. I've also swam a few times and been for a bike ride a few times.

- Food

This month i lost 2.9 kilos so am on track to bring a new loss over the next 11 months to 1.9 kilos a month. A healthy goal of 500 grams a week.

OK.

am going well on the excercise front.

I didnt weigh this week due ot having my period and I usually weigh more so didnt want the dissapointment.

I have taken new measurements though as I have been excercising a bit regularly for alittle while now so was hoping to see change

so losses in ALL areas even though my kilos loss in the same time is only around the 3-4 kilo mark! woohoo!

Well I havent documented much the last few weeks as I was away in Queensland for a week with work and pleasure and it stuffed my weigh days. Also school holidays were here and meant I didnt get really get to te gym much at all.

Went to the gym again today!
Had to go through my new program.
So today was a full workout.

My workout currently consists of

I did all that today except the 5 km on the rower as I didnt have time so instead just did 10 minutes.

Had my gym assessment done today.

It went well.

We knew I had gained weight since my last assessment(which was over a year ago!!) and the guy was wonderful, very encouraging and supportive. He reminded me that sixze and weight are not the be all to being fit and healthy, that excercise and taking general care of yourself is much more important than what the scales or tape measure says.

I did a small workout at the gym before leaving, did the rower, the bike and the cross trainer.

He said the rower will really help with losing kilos so that will be one well used piece of equipment for me!

Oh another half kilo down. 97.2 this morning!

I also went to the girls school and helped do 3 and a half hours of weeding and gardening so more excercise there.

I so need to do this. I really dont like my body this big, its getting uncomfy and it is definitely unhealthy!

So I got Joey to go get me a new white board marker as i was working today and i am going to track my food on the fridge to be more accountable and am going to loosely follow the weight watchers points plan as it is something that has worked for me int he past and means I don't feel like I am giving up all the treats I like.

I am also planning on tackling it heavy on with excercise, nothing ridiculous but it will def help me along the way.

I plan to walk to school more often also.

So lets see today:
I walked the kids to school this morning then worked for most of the day, I went to aldi after work somewhere I have never shopped, and icked up heaps of their 'just organics' range of products, they were cheap and will add to my cupboard for extras.

I'm going to do my measurements also, its been a while since I have.

Oh my!

Yesterday I went and met Joey and we climbed the Thousand steps at upper fentree gully! Boy was it hard work! The walk up to steps was a killer enough wihtout even hitting the steps!!! Apparently there are in actual fact around 670 steps. not a thousand but still 670 steps!!!! Thats a lot of steps! It was very very hard work and coming down the hill wasnt much easier! But it was gorgeous up there and it felt great to get to the top! So I am going to try to do this at least once a week preferably 2 times aweek and I am sure then it will help these kilos to shift!!!

We took my camera to get scenery photos and photos of the ferns and texture etc along the way. So once at the top I got Joey to take some photos of me, this will be my new photo place i think! i cant wait to see what I will look like up there in 3 months time!!!

I look lovely and rosy red, boy was I knackered! You can see how tired I look!

I forgot to post that I weighed the other week and was an astounding 98.4 kilos! Yuk yuk yuk!

weighed today and was 96.2 after doing 5 days of a detox, I htink that helped. I bought the 15 day detox kit but am away for the week next week so knew i wouldnt be able t do it then so did 5 days now then will do 5 days in the week after I return and then have the weekend then do another 5 days the following week. Should help kick start me into new better eating habits.

I feel pretty good.

Have had a good day today.

Eaten well enough, a pie for breakfast (our ocal bakery does nice home made ones and they are not as fatty as normal ones) a foccacia for lunch and tea will be kangaroo steaks and salad/vegies.

No wine today. No cigarettes today (yes I know very bad but under the stress of the relationship I ended up smoking more than I would have liked!!)

Went to the gym and did 45 minutes weights/and alittle cardio today so all good and I think i am going to go for a wlak or bike ride tonight.

OK back with photos as promised.

Today has been a good day so far. Been drinking water again which is one habit I have gotten terrible with. Am going ot go for a walk a bit later and also mow the lawns once this post is done so that is the excercise for today. Food wise, i slept in so had breakfast/lunch combined and had scrambled egg (1 eggs worth) piece of toast, grilled bacon and a stir fry of mushroom, chilli, tomato and spinach. Very nice.

I took the photos before, Yes they are AWFUL!!!!!!
But just think each month i will look better and better :) Not weighing today as i ate before I thought too so will do that tomorrow morning.

I notice in the photos just how bad my lazy eye is looking! and yes my room is messy! and yes i look mighty frumpy, but hey I did say i was about to go mow the lawns! Off to do that now...

OK, again itsbeen a while in between posts.

I haven't been doing very well and have been in a place wiht out a lot of motivation for a while.

Thats changing.

I do not like the way I look and I do not like at all, the weight and size that I currently am.

Getting motivation to lose weight is hard. I have been on this roller coaster for so long and if I don't do soemthing then it is only my health and well being that is effected.

I want to look in the mirror and be comfortable with what is looking back at me.

Last week i changed my bedroom around and I now have a full view of myself in my mirror and its not a nice sight.

Tomorrow i am going to take a photo and I am going to get back on track. I will do a photo and measurements every 4 weeks on a Sunday until I get to goal.

I am off to Queensland in October and I want to be at least 10-15 kilos lighter than i currently am right now. That's exactly 30 weeks away so now is a grat time to get working towards my goal.

I will weigh in the morning and take measurements and a photo for all to see.

Wish me succes on my journey because I need it right now!

NEW YEAR NEW ME!

OK so its not quite the new year yet but 2007 just IS going ot be MY year, I can feel it in my waters :P

I currently weigh in at 93.3 not too bad considering the separation from my partner 6 odd weeks ago, the general breakdown of myself over the past year of crappola, but no dwelling, its time to get myself into better shape and health!

I am giving myself the whole year, i might have mini goals but i just want to be in the healthy weight range for my height by new years 2007/08 so that is UNDER 76 kgs.

I need to do my measurements again and update them and promise to post here more oftedn with what I am doing.

I left weight watchers a bit ago now but will loosely follow their proigram as I know it works, but I dont want to count points forever, I want to just get new habits, excercise more, sleep better, drink less, completely quit smoking, eat more whole foods and just feel better about myself.

So here's to the new me :)

I know I've been slack lately.

Had some issues at home, they aren't sorted yet, not by a long shot, but I figure I need to take a bit more care of me for now so its time for an update.

Weights hovering around the same, which is good considering I've drunk extra wine in this stressful period!

I had negeklected the treadmill for 2 weeks too and the gym due ot cick kids.

but today i hopped on and am going to start running!

I did 2 minutes then 3 lots of 90 seconds over a 20 minute period, whilst walking in between.

going to aim to do that a few times a week and try walk on it the other days, getting out for walks is abit harder at the moment.

ok I am a slacker!

I have been excercising this week, I just havent tracked it, so form memory!
I did 2 gym workouts of 1 hour each, did 2 walks of 45 minutes each, I think thats it this week, having the long weekend meant less excercise.

I am going to start running on my treadmill this week though, going to attempt the couch - 5 kms.

Also other big news is I am not going to Weight Watchers anymore.

You see I've been helping out at the meetings for ages now and I knew a month or two ago that I had lost my enthusiam for it all. I LOVE weight atchers, it really is the BEST way to lose weight and I highly recommend it to anyone :) I will be following it myself to finally get to goal, I just wont be going to meetings anymore.
I had been fretting about telling my ww leader (who btw is a lovely lovely lady :)) that I wanted to use the time to go to the gym instead as I think it would help my weght loss more, plus I am busy wiht work kids etc so thats a good solid 2 hour block each week, heck i could do a class and some gym work in that time! anyway my eader pulled me aside to mention how I hadnt been pulling my weight staffwise lately, in a very friendly nice way, and I knew she was right, so in fact it worked out well for her and me, she didnt feel bad (she wasnt asking me to leave either, it just gave me the opening I wanted to have the guts to say I'd rather be in the gym)
I hadnt weighed at the meeting in ages anyway, I was too afraid too :)

Didnt do any 'specific' excercise on the weekend but did do a few HOURS gardening on saturday, loads of digging, heaps of weed pulling and some planting, was a good workout!

Sunday was a day off :)

Yesterday was 40 minutes on the treadmill last night, then today was 40 minutes at the gym and hopefully another treadmill walk tonight.

Made a big mistake yesterday and weighed myself. i think last weekend had caught up with me...

Thats IT. I am NOT going any higher! I have crept up slowly over the last year, just read down the blog and see. this is atrocious! I have neveer been this close to 100 ever! Even at 9 months pregnant my biggest 94 kilos! and iAM NOT PREGNANT! grrrrr...

Its ok all is good :)

Last wednesday I walked for 1 hour, thursday I swam for 45 minutes, Friday was weights at the gym for 1hour and 15 minutes, then I went on a girls weekend away and went for a good one hour or more walk Saturday, nothing Sunday.
Yesterday nothing and today will be a one hour walk on my newly hird TREADMILL! woohoo, no more excuses!

only 12 weeks til Christmas! Scary hey! Whats scarier is the hot weather is already hitting and none of my clothes fit!!!

How many times in the last year have I said it? I am going to get there? I willd o it? BLAH BLAH BLAH!!
How about I JUST DO IT ALREADY! LOL

I know what needs to be done, I know how to do this. So you know what I am going to do it :)

On the 31st of january 2007 I will turn 33, maybe at least by then I might be down at 80 kilos! Then I can spend time working towards the next goal!

Now this month I am keeping it simple, focusing strongly on excercising. i feel sooo much better when I excercise regularly and it really works to help fshift the wiehgt and allows ne alittle of leeway with food/wine so its best I get moving more!

Just had a weeks family holiday so loads of walking. So a good kick start back into action!

Now going to count the minutes for october, goal is a min 1000 minutes starting form today!

Today

1 x 45 minutes gym workout (weights)

I figure my first week properly back on track will bring a good loss, i certainly don't expect to see the scales drop so much in the coming weeks.

This morning I hopped on at the time i actually intend weighing myself, first thing in the morning and naked, after my first wee:)

So will keep this up for a month to see how my body changes along the month.

My new tanita scales arrived today. I got them through flybuys a good thing i think as mine at hoem suck and I am too scared to weigh at ww anymore! I will get there though and as I go along will weigh at ww aghain.

Oh well am going to weigh each morning for a few weeks and watch how much I fluctuate, kind of to in the long term make less fuss of my weight, I dunno, maybe to get me motivated again too.

I reckon I was higher as it was half way through the day and I had been to the gym this morning, now rtomorrow orning i will be at a friends so no weigh then, so from Thursday morning onwards every morning i will weigh for a bit. I'll probably check in here a few times a week.

well July is over...and it sucked!

After the detox i have fallen off the healthy eating wagon and straight into pig out hell.

Alas I must plod on along. Tomorrow is the first of the month (and 2yrs since my darling mum passed away) so time to finally get this ever growing 'A' into 'G'.

Going to attempt another excercise challenge, find that more motivating than trying to diet too strictly, will still do ww but plan to hit 1200 minutes excercise for the month...

I did so well tonight, everyone else had fosh and chips for tea and I had a lentil curry with brown rice... ok brown rice actually sucks, its the first thing I have eaten on this detox that officially really tastes awful!

Also its a weekend and no wine for me, at all, no chips, no crap, nothing!

89.6 kilos. So not too bad, back under the 90 mark and I intend well and truly staying this side of 90 now!

So to get to goal by christmas thats a loss of 514 grams a week needed.

Been doing really well food wise, feel like I have that under control, same wiht my wine consumption, I feel like my head is in a good spot finally to achieve my goals again.

I did weigh at home the other day and my home scales said I was 90 kilos again.

I think I just need to bite the bullet and use the weight watchers scales only. Mine arent great, they are ancient crappy ones.

I guess I just dont want to see 90 recorded in my weight watchers book.

Maybe I can just keep going weigh in a month and hopefully the ww scales have me under 90 by then.

I want to finally get to goal weight. i feel like this has been such a long journey that just hasn't gone anywhere. I feel like I am going in circles.

So its time to move forward, instead of chasing my tail.

I need to find my measuring tape, i really want to take measurmeents so I can compare them also, they help when i feel I work hard but the scales dont show results.

OK now i am setting a new goal. Christmas is 29 weeks away. I'd so love to get to goal by the end of this year. I think its achievable.

Start weight 90 kilos
goal weight 75 kilos
15 kilos to goal.
thats a loss needed of .517 grams a week form now til christmas.
or 2 kilos a month fomr now til then.

It sounds very achievable.

weighed again today, though mind you it was directly after lunch and I normally weigh in the morning before I eat. so i think I am actually less than this, anyway I weighed at 85.5 kilos. So even wiht lunch in its still a loss.

2 weeks now wiht no coffee and I really dont feel like it at all.

Foodwise, had a couple of off-ish days this week but got right back on track each time, excercise has been going but not as much as I'd like, just been busy this week.
So in general all good.

Still haven't found the measuring tape, might have to buy a new one.

I went to the gym this morning to do my workout, whilst doing my weights I was atching myself in the mirror and i think I look slimmer! I think I have lost a bit more weight. Not a huge amount but my shape is defintly changing again, for the good!

Food has been good, bought the new the very contented tummy cookbook form weight watchers last week and am really enjoying trying some new recipes form it.
Have been eating more soup too and drinking loads of green tea instead of coffee and I feel so much better!

Really need to find my measuring tape and do my measurements.

I went and bought a bottle of this detox drink to drink over 10 days and started that today. Will see how it goes.

OMG! My 100th post!!

Well things seem to be going fomr bad to worse weight wise for me. It truly sucks and I know the biggest thing is I need to get my head int he right space for it! I need to really want it and be dedicated to it, I need to change my habits, I need to do so much more!

I weighed a few days ago, I was 91 kilos!!

91 kilos!!

Shocking stuff! I hate it. i went shopping for new clothes and am back to a 18 :( Its so very sad. Oh I can squeeze into target 14 jeans though but I know they arent really accurate!

I am thinking about trying a detox diet for 2 weeks, eliminate coffee, alcohol etc completely and eating really healthy and giving my self a kick start back on track.

I've been tracking probably 4-5 days out of 7 a week but its not enough, i am not doing it right.

So my goal is to go to the chemist tomorrow, then go shopping and try the detox.

I'll post in here more often too, when I did a long time ago last year i was actually doing well for a while.

I took some photos of myself before, OK my 7 year old daughter and my 4 year old took them but here they are all the same, my new outfit I bought a few days ago on and all.

I'm so sick of being a frumpy mum, I need a new haircut, I need some more make up and I need to make sure I buy myself clothes regularly. I'm not going to wait til I lose weight to do these things, thats what I keep doing, saying oh when I lose 5 kilos I'll do this etc.

well things have gone fomr bad to worse in my absence! Instead of possibly hitting goal by my 100th post I am at an all time highest EVER weight! I am currently 90 kilos!!!!

Thats is over my ww joining weight by far! It sucks it really does!

So I have been getitng osme cousnelling fo rother issues and had a chat wiht her this week and we have agreed that it would be a good idea i just don't weigh at all for a while... that is going ot be hard but I know really is for the best!

So I am going ot go back to tracking, exzcercising, being busier, getting soem routine in my life etc but no weighing, not for at least one month,m so not til at least the first week of may!

Will be back sooner than my gaps between last posts, promise!

OK have cooked 2 recipes form the new book so far,
yesterday made a tuna, cannelini bean and olive salad that was yummy, I have enough left over easily for lunch today too.
Last night I made couscous with roasted cherry tomatoes and red onions, with a lemon and basil dressing, very nice!

food and excercise today:

Breakfast:
Coffee, banana and water

Gym for 1.5 hours weights workout.

Lunch:
Bowl weight watchers point free soup
Tuna salad (from new cookbook)

Afternoon tea:
Nectarine

Dinner:
Pork, noodle dish form new cookbook

Might hopefully get another walk in today too.

Went to ww friday, am currently 86.6 so technically only down 100 grams form a fortnight ago :(

I can only keep going.

I went shopping saturday afternoon to buy some clothes as was going out saturday night and felt I had nothign to wear. I bought a nice skirt (size 14 but is a tad too small but still looks fine and is comfy and its a good goal, only 3-4 kilos and it will fit really well) I also bought a black shirt in a size 16. I wore my jeans and the black shirt with a top under on saturday night and actually felt I looked nice. Weird for me!

Excercise, Thursday did another 20 minute wlak in the afternoon/evening
Friday I cant remember!
Saturday I toook the kids ot pools os mucked aroudn with them butno specific excercise and yesterday none.
This morning did a half hour walk.

March excercise total = 215 minutes.

Oh got the new weight watchers recipe book 'pantry pull-togethers' and it looks great, menu planned for the week inlcuding lots of recipes from it.

Still here and have had a good week really.

Excercise has been good, but gave up counting for feb as I reached goal and surpassed it.

March goal is 1300 minutes.

Yesterday I did a one hour walk in the evening and a 20 minute walk in the morning, today did a 45 minute walk this morning and am planning either naother walk this evening or a bike ride.

Food today has ben great, toast with hsam cheese and tomato for breakfast, and a beef salad for lunch. Dinner not sure yet but most likely chicken and vegies.

another quick updte :)
Food has been great today. excercise has been even better.

I finally have my motivationback and am rolling properly with my excercise routine. Its become a priority again adn I am enjoying it! Plus I know it brings results!

Yesterday I went for a extra 20 minute walk i nthe afternoon, then this morning I did 1.5 hours weights at the gym then this evening I went for a 1 hour walk.

Also went to the osteopath today, she was great, very lovely. I am going otstart pilates soon and she has given me a range of more excercises to work all those inner muscles, yay one day I might be in better shape after all :)

Feb excercise total = 1005 minutes!!!

WOOHOO Reached my feb goal with a week to spare! Will be aiming for 1300 for march!

ok not a great weekend but not too bad, had take away Friday night, but then spent 5 hours straight on my feet saturday as was shooting a wedding so very busy for that.

Went for a bike ride yesterday for 30 minutes and then got up this morning and went for a 40 minute walk. so am keepign the excercise going, going to go for another wlak this evening too, going to aim to walk most evenings on top of whatever other excercise I can manage.

the bad first, can you believe have eaten red rooster 2 days in a row? yes 2 days in a row, truly ashamed :( My lame excuse too is that I was working and by the time I finished work each day I was starving and had a long drive home each time so i stopped by RR :( shameful stuff, I havent eaten it ina while and been great with eating, i think the gains of recent have gotten to me mentally!

Anyway now the GOOD! I have excercised each day!
Yesterday was 1 hour and 15 minutes at the gym, then a 45 minute walk in the evening, then today was a 20 minute walk this morning then 45 minutes cardio at the gym tonight.

Hello :)

Well I'm back again. Had a bit of time off the ocmputer over the last week, been good, caus emeant more excercise.

Big downfall, I gained again last week, was actually really badly dissapointed as i had done well all week points wise and excercise wise!

I am now 87.4 kilos! Yep the BIGGEST I have been all up! what a joke.

If its any consolation I have been feeling very flat and down. and I think that has cntribute. I also went to the doctors today and had my bloods done to see if anything shows as have been super tired lately.

Excercise have been good. Cant remember every day last week did walking everyday and a bike ride friday.

Friday i know I did a 1 hour 20 minute of walking and a 30 miunte bike ride, Thursday i did a big walk, and have walked to and form school every day which is 40 minutes a day. So adding 200 minutes to febs total even though i am sure it should be more than that. might motivate me to actually fill this journal in more often!

One complete bad day since friday and that was yesterday, Jaimes 4th birthday, had maccas for lunch and a few wines at dinner. but hey their birthdays are but nce a year :)

Been feeling quite flat so havent been online much at all, ben a good thing though done more excercise and have eaten wihtin my points every day so hoping to see some results friday form my efforts. Need some motivation to keep me going.

Excercise, I have been walking, went for a ride with Liam on the back of the bike, more walking and today i went to the gym and I have booked the kids in 2 times a week to the creche for the next few weeks so i can get back into going.

Back again :)

No weight watchers last week as was too busy with stuff and joey had the car so I couldnt get there.

School is back tomorrow and I am pleased, need the routine of walking somewhere each day might motivate me to excercise more in general too.

No where near this months gola of 100 minutes, have done soe excercise th elast week or so but didnt make it, might try again this month.

Tomorrow is my 32nd birthday! Every year I say 'oh by my next birthday I'll be at goal weight' now this year I wnt say it, I'll just DO IT! :P

Saw video footage of myself a few days ago, i tell you its a good motivator, Was actually a shock to myself looking so big!
I also got Joey to take photos of me front back and side with bathers on, will upload them if i can ever get access to the laptop!
I'm back to where i began, on my scales I actually hit 88 last week :( This week they say about 86.5. Not good, but really over the school holidays and all of december really excercise has gone out the window.

the last two days however I have done something, yesterday i went for a bi8ke ride to the pool then swam some laps then rode home and tonight i went for a walk wiht Joey after tea.

Tomorrw morning will walk to school then to kinder then school again in the afternoon, will excuse me to eat osme take away for tea and have a wine or 3 :) Joey has ot work late tomorrow too so will be having a lonely dinner on my own or will have to wait til 10pm to eat with him.

Weekend was a bit of a write off, well Friday we had the funeral, was as nice a service as they can be under the circumstances. Afterwards we came back to our place for drinks, we intended getting pizza for tea but we forgot wiht all the drinking going on, so myself and a few others did a wlak to maccas in the late/early hours and to be honest even drunk it was gross! LOL but hey we never learn when under the influence!

Yesterday was written off due to a bit of a hang over, red rooster for lunch then pizza for tea.... yes two take aways in one day.

So now today has consisted of bacon, eggs, mushroom and tomato for breakfast and a plate of steamed vegies for lunch (see you eat crap like yesterday and now i am craving fresh healthy food!)

Too hot to go out wlaking, might try a walk ths evening.

Well last night was a bit of a bummer, opened a bottle white, then got stuck into the good part of a bottle of muscat, drank them over a long time time though as sat up til about 4am. I nibbled on cut up carrot and celery that I had prepared earlier in the day wiht some low fat dip.

Had the same breakfast again, bacon and egg toasted sandwhich, then had salad again for lunch wiht 1/2 an avocado, a nectarine and thats it.

Rode to the gym , man was my bum sore form yesterdays ride!then did a 40 minute weights workout at the gym, that hurt too, hadnt been since end of november! Going to try to keep this up, having at least a days break from the bike as I am quite sore, but it is fun riding, makes me young again! I look forward to when all the kids can ride and we can go on day bike rides together.

Tea is probably some chicken and vegies or salads, I have dfrosted chicken anyway, or I might cook that for the boys and just have some stiry fry vegies instead. Got t make up for the alcohol.

Oh and scary stuff, it is exactly 2 weeks until i turn 32! Maybe by the time I turn 33 I'll be well and truly at goal!

80th bit from me

well havent updated all weekend, the weekend wasnt too bad, other than saturday eating chips and drinking wine, but nothing too awful.

Went out for tea with Joey friday night and had the seafood basket, I ate mostly prawns, mussels, scallops and salad so that was fine.

Yesterday was ok, ate ok, cooked a roast prok for tea, prbably not the best chice of meat but oh well.

Today was the begining of a new plan, tracking points seriously and doing some excercise!
I had a bacon and egg toasted sandwhich for breakfast (5.5p) a nectarine for snack (.5) then a sald and a can of tuna for lunch (1) and prepared vegies for kebabs for tea (0-1) then I got a phonecall from joey to tell me another friend has passed away, he died in his sleep Sunday.
Its brough back up so many emotions fomr when Damian died and soemtimes I dont realise just how much I do miss him.
I'm ok, dinner is still the same but there will definitly be copious amounts of wine to soak it down with.

Losingpeople our own age, who have kids is really hard ot deal with, I mean we are talking people in their early 30's it just doesnt seem right.

I went out for a bike ride and a swim after hearing the news, that was a good idea as it meant I could have a cry in peace. plus got some excercise in for the day

I just feel weird.

OK new goal set!

In 10 weeks i am off to Sydney for a weekend, goiung to meet some lovely internet girlies and am excited about going. This is my new motivation to lose weight!

OK I am currently 85.8 kilos
I have 11 weigh ins before I head off! My goal is to be under 80 kilos when I go!
So thats a loss of 520 grams a week needed. I reckon i can achieve that! be a good start to head towards my first weight watchers goal of 76 kilos too.

I will add my measurements here too and update them on week 5 and week 10.

thigh: 67cms
calf: 38cms
hips: 113cms
waist: 92cms
bust: 108cms
arm: 32cms

(my last measurements taken in October were
Waist: 90.5cms
Bust: 109 cms (though changes as still feeding)
Hips: 112cms
Thighs: 65cms
Arms: 32cms so a slight gain most areas or stay the same. Not good, time ot change!)

No excercise yet today, will work in a walk or may do an excercise video while Liam sleeps, or maybe get the wieghts out and do some here and some squats or soemthig! I really need to get to the gym, looking forward to school going back and getting a routine back.

Be back tomorrow with this weeks weighh in results, feeling like I will have a loss even if just a small one :)

still been good, yesterday was great, food wise all no count, except a few glasses of wine in the evening. Walked for 1 hour yesterday.

Today went and finally got a masage for my aching back, hurt like hell but will feel the benefits in a day or two. No excercise today other than some gardening... a big slip up too, grabbed a big mac form the petrol station maccas on my home fomr massage as i was hungry, hadnt had breakfast etc... have been good the rest of the day, fruit all afternoon then steak mushroom and noodle stir fry for tea.

Ok lets see, had a good few days. did I mention weigh in yesterday yet? mmmm BAD 85.8 so gained another 500 grams, oh well at least new year, christmas etc are all over. We have no birthdays or anything for a few weeks either so time ot get in focus for a bit!

Have stuck to no count plan yesterday and today well. Walked for 1 hour yesterday then jogged one lap of the park (the park at te bottom of my street, Joey is going to try push me to get jogging again, I need some pushing thats for sure. I jogged half of it then had to wlak a bit then jogged the rest.

Today went for a 40 minute walk. Still havent done measurmeents, might try do them tomorrow so I can compare each month again.

Had a good day. Attempting the no count plan, and it is going well. I find it easy enough mostly to stick to the list and when I do stray I reckon i am staying wihtin the weekly poiunts allowance... though tomorrow willt hrow me as i will most likely drink a bit of wine.

I didnt get out for specific excercise today but i did weed heaps of the garden, then fertislised all the plants (we have a big block and 4 vegie patches plus other plants) then watered it all in and tied up all my tomato plants so thats a bit, plus cleaned up inside the house since we have guests tomorrow!

Making lasagna for tea tomorrow night wiht everyone coming, Jules is making vindaloo so will have a lighter breakfast, maybe some salad for lunch to try balance it out... maybe if I get very motivated I could do a wlak in the morning before the day begins...we'll see...

Happy New year!

Well its a whole new start isnt it, new years resolutions and all that stuff! Can you guess mine? yep the obvious one.,.. this year I WILL lose weight!

Off to a bad start today food wise, had KFC for breakfast and pizza for dinner.... mmmm lucky I got 2 walks in today!

Going to add my excercise minutes each day too now to try to get to 1000 for the month of January.

Not much more to add today.... its been a pitiful start.

one week down..

a 800 gram gain but heck it was Christmas afdter all so really not too bad, plus I actually ate 2 bacon and egg mcmuffins on the way to ww and drank a heap of water, usually I only have a coffee before weigh in and nothing else til afterwards (my weigh is in the morning) so hopefully this means next week is a bit better.

A tough week though this one, new years tomorrow, having a bbq at the neighbours and bound to be drinks a plenty going on. Then tuesday is Damians birthday, or well it would be if he was still with us... so to make it easier for all we are gathering for drinks to remember a wonderful guy :) I'm cooking lasagna too.

Really need to get the A into G for excercise I have become so very slaxck, just alittle walk here or there, no gym still in sooooo long... really must get on top of that!

well I am back again!

I stopped wieghing at ww for a few weeks as was doing terribly and emotionally couldnt have handled it, needed to get my head back on track and in focus and I feel i have done that now. I weighed the last 2 weeks and was 85.4 then last week 84.5 so a 900 grams loss so finally heading downwards.

I feel terrible as I have been so very busy wiht work in the christmas rush of everyone wanting photos that I only got to the gym ONCE in the last 6 or so weeks! Really need to get back into a regular excercise routine again.

Christmas was ok, for lunch I had fresh seafodd (oysters and prawns and salad, drank heaps of wine and baileys though but hey christmas is only once a year!)
Drank a heap of water and took those alcodol tablets and had no hangover!

So am now back and rearing to go. Will start a new excerise goal as of Jan 1st to aim for 1000 minutes for the month.

WW have changed and have a new no count plan, I am trialing this out for me and so gfar it seems a lot better, i dont feel hungry and can still have some treats (wine!) but have to eat of a list of foods the rest f the time, luckily I love alot of foods on the list and hey its an excuse to eat sushi for take away!

Will do all my measurements and weigh in again Friday so will have all my stats ready for the new year.

I guess one thing I can say is I am not giving up, this jourmal has gone so long and not a lot fo wihgt loss but I then think, imagine if i didnt try, how fat would I be!!!!

Well I weighed in and was quite dissapointed, I only lost 100 grams :(

Shouldnt say 'only' as it is a step in the right direction and it was 'that time of the month' so hopefully this week I see more than 100 grams.

Its difficult, I dont want what the scales say to rule my life, but I just am sick of it not changing, I want ot break 80 kilos, then I can relax a little about focusing so much on what they say.

Having a good week this week too, eatign well, had wine on the weekend only as planned and even then not too much.

Have excercised every day in some way.

BTW should get off and go do my excercise video, its rainiig here today and the fil has gone away for 2 days so unlikely to get to the gym.

edging closer to 100 bits form me, wonder if I'll at least get under 80 kilos finally by then.

At times I feel like its been a constant battle on and off all year to try to lose weight. I have had long periods of being so fantastic, excercising heaps, eating to my points and not losing for weeks on end, then I have had periods where i have eaten avergae, excercised average and still not lost or gained much, same wiht being excessive in areas I seem to hovert around 83-84 or so kilos. Its getitng me frustrated and annoyed.

This week i am proud though, finally i have stuck to my goal and had no acohol at all during the week and quite frankly its been easy!

I didnt do oz aerobics each day but did excercise some sort each morning before breakfast on each weekday and wlaked both days on the weekend.

Next weeks goal is to get to the gym 3 times as well as doing excercise at home or wlaking. I need ot get back into my weights. I did them today and felt the difference. I like feeling strong and I know its helping with toning

7.5 weeks to christmas, hope I can under 80 by then!

Tomorrow is weigh in, I really need a loss emotionally.

Have had a really good week so far.

I promised myself on the weekend that i would not have any alcohol at all duirng the week anymore and just keep to a few wines friday/saturday nights. I have done so well wiht it too! It hasn't bothered me at all, even had cup day without any drinks! Usually Tuesday night is my unwind time, and tv night and I would always get a bottle of wine and sit back over the evening and veg in fornt of the box watching all my favorite shows. last night i still veged but had a ww ice cream cone instead and was fine!

I didnt excercise yesterday as slept in in the morning, then this morning I set my alarm to do oz aerobics but must have hit off instead of snooze so woke up at 10 to 7 so instead i got up and went for a walk before doing breakfast etc for the kids. I want to keep up this excercising in the mornigns for as long as I can, actually aim to have it as a lifestyle change! I am really hoping it helps my metabolism, I will bedissappointed if I see no change over the coming month though I reckon I will see a good change, drinking heaps less and excercising more regularly HAS to help!

Food has been good, diet club is a great way of tracking! Its a fun way of keeping up with what I eat, its easy to sit down at any time of the day and add my points up, plus I can also see how much fat, fibre, carbs, protein etc I am consuming.

Have work today, so best push off and finally have some breakfast, a couple of poached eggs today, grilled mushroom and tomato. Lunch is a ww meal (they were on special last week) and a salad dinner not sure yet, going to go to the shops to restock on fruit and veg so might grab some tofu while there and have a stir fry.

well its 7:15am and insane me actually got up and did oz style aerobics this morning! I am suprised too :) I am NOT a mornign person but I said ot Joey I would try and wel it might help kick start my metabolism by excercising first thing each morning, thing is wiht 3 kids the only way to do that is EARLY!

Downloaded a trial version diet club yesterday, looks good and will be a good easy way to track my food intake. I'll still be counting points, will be itneresting to compare the two.

I'm back! .... AGAIN :)

Yep anther month away and am now nearly 2 kilos heavier than last month so am heaidng in the WRONG direction!

I really need a good kick up the rear, have been terrible wiht food the last two weeks and barely been ot the gym at all.

I am currently 84.8 kilos :( yukko!

Well lets see if once and for all i can stick to this and budge the weight I want ot lose.

I have reassessed my goals. My first goal is to get to under 80 kilos. I will focus on this first them reset a new goal. So 4.8 kilos to go. Blech, to think I actually got down to 82 at one point, now have just made it harder for myself. Oh well chin up, head down and get moving.

Today has been a good start, bacon and egg toasted sandwhich for breakfast and a chicken roll for lunch wiht salad. tea tonight is roast lamb.

On eother thing is I am going to be super strict and have NO wine at all during the week and another thing I am trying this week is EVERY morning this week i am going ot get up and do oz style aerobics on tv as well as my usual walking and going ot the gym. See if excercising first thing each day helps things along at all.

Uh no idea what happened ot going back t week one last week! I gained .3 this week which is ok really as its the end of school holidays havent been to the gym in nearly 2 weeks but still not great!

Had my gym reassessment todat after being a member for 8 weeks now.

I did pretty good. My fitness has improved HUGELY! It was poor beofre and now is good for my age. I have lost cms off pretty much everywhere but most noticeably my thighs and hips since my last measurements.

i will do my own this week too on Friday to compare to the ones I have here.

Foodwise been good, had a shake for breakfast, then a pita wrap thing for lunch and dinner tonight is chiken and chilli burgers with salad. I'll have some fruit and a yoghurt between all that too.

Got my new program at the gym and am excited, i am hopign it wil kickstart my weight los along some more. It has heaps more abdominal work and more weights in general and he has changed the cardio to keep continuing building on my fitness. So I'll do that program 2-3 times a week and then do 1-2 days of just cardio stuff and then a class or two a week for some variation.

Looking forward to Friday, i want to know what I am now so i can set new goals weight wise. I am sure i havent lost but dont think i am have gained either.

well I tried posting on the weekend but blogger wouldnt let me...

Anyway its Monday, the start of a new week!

The weekend was ok, friday night I drank way too much alcohol and sat crying til the wee hours of the morning a mix of so many things but heck I'll get over it. Saturday was fine, had subway for lunch/breakfast, then lasagna for dinner.
Yesterday had bacon and egg sandwhich for breakfast, ww meal for lunch then curry for tea.

didnt do much excercise o=ver the weekend but didnt have time and couldnt get the kids minded.

Today, went to the gym this mroning, my leg is still hurting so no running but sis a workout and still felt good, did extra sit ups and tummy work since I couldnt run. Had a shake for breakfast, curry for unch then a yoghurt and for tea is a chicken and veg stir fry.

OK my motivation has returned, well i hope it has anyway!

OK firstly willbe skipping weigh in this week as am almost positive I have gained if not definatly havent lost and I dont care to hear about it this week!
I wills tio the gym tomorrow mornign and then will have coffee with a girlfriend instead of going into ww :)

I need some goals, only 8 weeks ot go til Jo's wedding now and well i have even bigger motivation too now, I got engaged last week! woohoo for me :) Who knows when we will actually get married but I know for a fact I wont til I look nice in a dress!

So at a guess I am 83-84 kilos, so 8 weeks ot go wonder if i can budge 8 kilos! I do dubt it but we'll give it a good go anyway!

Goals this week:
Go to the gym 4 times
drink loads of water EVERY day! (been terrible with my water intake!)
STICK to my points, 22 on non gym days and 26 on gym days!
LIMIT wine intake to 2-3 nights and no more than total 2 bottles over the entire week!

Thats enough for one week :)
Have menu planned half the week:
Roast pork and vegies
noodle vegie stir fry
curry
chicken burgers and salad
lasagna or spag bolognaise

I also have my gym reassessment Tuesday, looking forward ot seeign what my measurments and fitness show compared ot last time!

Well I'm back :)

I cant sit and wallow in sorrow forever, I dont want that, Damian definatly wouldn't have wanted that and its now time to try pick up the pieces and move on, life is here to be enjoyed and lived, he certainly did that well too!

So I went to WW this morning, was happy to weigh in at 83.4 so a 400 grams loss.

The reason that is great is over the last 2 weeks every night yes I know its bad :( I have had alcohol, some nights just one or two glasses but on many more I have had a bottle of wine or more :( The first week after his death I went between not eating then the only food i did consume was take away, pizza, kfc (twice in one day!) red rooster, fish and chips, chinese, chicken and chips, souvlakis a few times, subway etc etc the list goes on so considering all that and no gym work out til last ngiht (and went again this morning) then yes I am pleased I still had a loss and not a gain!

So back on track!

Well its official, I really do suck at this :( I work so hard and just cant seem to find a pattern of heading constantly downwards :( I weighed in at 83.8 today so a gain of 1.5.

Now enough of feeling sorry for myself and lets tackle a new attitude and a new plan of action!!

Firstly to muddle you more a quick update since my last post, have eaten well stuck to points each day, actually under yesterday to save points so I can have a couple of wines as I had a feeling I'd be feelign sorry for myself today! Excercise went to the gym yesterday, had my program review, went well they were really happy with how I am pushing myself and motivating myself along, no changes to the program as I adjust the weights up and push myself cardio wise as I see fit. Then did a workout, cardio and weights.
Running - 5 minutes at 8.5, then 4 minutes at 8.5
x-trainer - 1 km in 6 minutes 50 seconds on level 5.
Rowing machine - 500m level 5 in 2 mins 14 seconds (best time is 2 miutes 8 seconds)
I also went for a wlak wiht my neighbour for 50 miutes in the evening.

Today i just did 45 minutes cardio before my meeting, went on the bike first, then treadmill where I ran 8 minutes at 8.5 then ran 4 minutes, 2 at 8.5, then 1 and a bit at 10 then the last bit at 11. I want to try challenge myself now and then to run a bit harder for a bit longer. Hopefully this will all help me get towards running 5 kms without stopping at a good pace. I then used the x-trainer and did 1km in 6 minutes 15 seconds on level 5.

Food today:
coffee (.5) apple (1) pita pizza and salad (7.5) (photo below also :))

Dinner I am not sure yet, have to do some shopping and sit and do a menu plan.

So to reassess my wedding goal:
21 weeks: 86.8
20 weeks: 84.5
19 weeks: 84
18 weeks: 84.8
17 weeks: 83.2
16 weeks: 83.9
15 weeks: 83.9
14 weeks: 83.8
13 weeks: 82.3
12 weeks: 83.8

so 730 grams a week to goal for the wedding! Its still definatly do-able!

I am also starting a new countdown to CHRISTMAS! there are only 22! yes 22 weeks til Christmas day! OH MY! So I would really like to get to 72 kilos by Christmas.
So a loss of 530 grams a week to do that and that will put me in a healthy weight for my height and almost to my dream goal, actually 72 will probably be my ww final goal weight.

NEW GOAL TIME:
- improve my running, want to run for 20 miutes witout stopping wiht a treadmill pace of 8.5
- improve my spurts of fast running and get to running for 2-3 minutes at 10-11 on the treadmill
- Excercise at least 6 out of 7 days every week. Even if its just a half hour walk.
- Aim to do a fun run this summer
- get my waist measurement below 80 cms! and hips below 105cms!

MINI GOAL:
BREAK UNDER 80 KILOS!
Dont give up!

Well I think i am not going to weigh in this week, I will still go to my meeting but will most likely use my dreaded no weigh pass! If i can find it that is!

I have my period, I always weigh heavier when i do, always n matter how good my week has been and well my week this week hasnt been perfect! Its hasnt been too bad, I have been under points each day since saturday but my sugar points are around about 40 for the week!

I went to the gym yesterday ad did a great workout, was 1 hour ad 40 miutes and felt great, did 10 minutes running, 10-15 of walking, 20 minutes on the bike and my weights circuit, felt good! Today no excercise apart form a bit of gardening, a walk to the park wiht the kids and chaisng them around playing oh and have been doing washing and sorting of the kids toys so i guess some points earned there. Oh went for a wlak last ngiht with the neighbour too, about 35 minutes.

Tomorrow I am off to the gym for my reasessment of my program so will get a workout, then Friday morning I am doing a RPM class again then will do soem treadmill before headinginto my ww meeting, that is again if i go into it!

I just cant bear the thought to being so close to my first 5 kilo los to be actually told because of my period and the weekend just passed that I have gained a kilo or possibly even more when if I wait a week it will give me a loss !

The emotional side of losing weight sucks!

Joey suggested a gym membership instead of WW and using the WW money for that but I really dont want to go to a gym, I have done it before and whilst I enjoy swimming and doing the body balance classes the rest is just so boring and I can't stand being around half the pretentious people you tend to get in a lot of gyms. plus add the cost of child care on top of a gym membership and I'd rather spend the extra cash buying yummy healthy food and getting good walking, running gear and well a nice massage now and then!

LOL well now I LOVE the gym! I would probably go every day if I had the time, I am so enjoying feeling fitter, challenging myself by trying to run further each time i go and lift heavier weights or more repetitions, doing classes with a friend, having some time to just listen to the ipod while I workout and not have to respond to a childrens cries or whinging for 1-2 hours :)

I can now run 2 kms easily so am sure 5 wont be that far away, the August fun run we wont make but we'll choose another one to do. Someone else about the great Train race which is a good one to set for a goal for when it is on next year Will be back wiht more info on that!
I now wear a 14-16 instead of a 16-18 and am fitting more and more comfortably into the 14's each week!
Still a while to go to getting under 70 but i will get there, thats the long term goal, breaking 80 needs to happen first!

been great, had nutri grain (3) then coffee (.5) pita pizza(7) nibblies(1.5) strawberries (.5) salad(0) home made thai chilli chicken and small amount of rice (4)
is 16.5 points, then had 3 glasses red wine (3) plus my workout this morning and a 45 minute walk tonight wiht my nieghbour. so plenty left over :) Hoping this helps me to at least not gain after my weekends efforts!

Did my first ever RPM class today! I got to the gym this morning and asked for a pass to body balance, they said nope instructor sick its been cancelled... hmmmm so i asked what else was on and insane me chose rpm LOL!

So what is RPM? It is a cycling class that goes for 45-50 minutes, you dont stop at all! Spend a lot of time cycling against resistance and racing yourself etc and is a very very good cardio workout! My poors legs and especially my poor buttocks will be paying for it tomorrow i am sure!
I intend going to the gym tomorrow mornign to do my wieghts and running so will be interesting to see how I feel when I wake up!

49th bit from me

well not such a great weekend :(

May as well be honest and just lay it all out here .

Friday night had one of Joeys mates over for tea, cooked fried rice and honey soy chicken, thats ok they are syms recipes so low in fat and realy yummy. I only had a small plate so that was ok too. So was at 17 points for the day, then had a bottle of wine (7) and a beer (1.5) and then a couple of ports (2) and some red rock chips (3) so all up 30.5 points for the day. Now really this should be ok as I am really allowed 26 as i am breastfeeding plus i did a good workout inthe morning so really only 2-3 points over.

but then theres Saturday:
Breakfast small bowl fried rice (3.5) small bowl nutri grain (3.5)
Lunch toast x 2 ham cheese and tomato (5.5)
snacking at party
2 mini party pies (4)
small piece brie ( 3)
6 pieces shaved salami (2)
sun dried tomato and one or two olives (1)
then out to dinner garlic mussels (2) and steak (was small thankfully!) (5) and vegies (2) and another bottle of wine (7) and a 3 glasses champagne (3)
so total for yesterday = 41.5 points! I did a 45 minute walk also but really thats ridiculous!
Must say I did have a really really lovely day and i could have eaten worse by ordering a much higher point dinner and eating more snacks at the party!

lunch ww vegie lasagna (3.5)
dinner thai beef salad home made (4)
snack 3 rice cakes with a tin of tuna (2)
no excercise as ran out of time

so 15 points toal, will go make a hot choc too now so will be a total of 16 points today.

Back to 222 points tomorrow and will make sure i do excercise every day between now and friday! Hopefully saturday doesn't give me a gain this week :(

WEIGH IN DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Woohhoo I lost 1.5 kilos! I am now 82.3 kilos! This is the least I have weighed in a long time and I feel its a turning point for me. I have been woring so hard at the gym and excercising this last month or two and havent seen much results on the scales, I think thats going to change now and I will hopefully see a consistent loss each week now, I dont care how small or big but I think its going to head downwards now :)

I redid my measurements too
The first amount in brackets is cms lost in the last 4 weeks the second amount in brackets is total cms lost since starting ww in January.

Measurements:

Neck: 36cms (same) - (-2cms)
Upper Arm: 32cms (-.5cms) - (-1.5cms
Waist: 88.5cms (-5.5cms) - (-12.5cms)
Hips: 110cms (-1cm) - (-6.5cms)
Upper leg: 64.5cms (-.5) - (-4.5cms)
Calf: 37cms (-1cm) - (-2.5cms)

So in the last 4 weeks I have lost 8.5 cms which is great, especially the loss off my waist, I can really feel that with my clothing and it is deinatly the area where I was carrying the most excess weight so it was the area I expected to see the most significant change in. My total cm loss so far is 29.5 cms, woohoo great stuff! Feeling very proud :)

Today foodwise, have had fruit for breakfast and a coffee (2) pita pizza and diet coke for lunch (7.5) dinner is fried rice and honey soy chicken (7.5) and I'll pick snacks as i go along, I have fruit there and rice crakers etc so should be fine.

I went to the gym this moring before ww and will do so each week as it owrks out well wiht the kids as i can leave them in the creche and attend my meeting in peace :) So did 40 minutes cardio this morning including a 7 minute run then a 2 and a half minute run. I think if i can keep improving the maount i run the wight loss should be good for a bit. i want to get to at least 20 minutes running without stopping then aim for 30 minutes wihtout stopping and doing that 3 times a week.

47th bit from me

Yesterday: Went for a walk to the video store in the afternoon and then went to the gym and worked out for 1 and a half hours! Ate as planned so all good :)

NEWS! I RAN for 12 minutes and 15 seconds without stopping! Woohoo! It wont be long before I can run for half an hour without stopping! Am aiming for 20 minutes first but would love to be able to go for half an hour!

Today: I wasnt sore at all this time form my run and also I noticed my heart rate was much more stable last ngith whilst running so this must be asign I am getting FITTER!
Ate well today had stew for breakfast as I really didnt feel like cereal! (4) plus 2 pieces of bread (3) 3 squares choc (2) toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich (6) fish and vegies for dinner, didnt really like the fish so ate mostly vegies (4) so thats 20 points which is good as I am about to go have a crumpet :)

Only excercise today was wlaking to school this morning so 20 minutes, was busy the rest of the day and had an appointment this evening. Am going ot the gym in the morning before ww so not sure how that will effect my weigh in, I usually walk to ww anyway so I usually get some excercise each week before weighing in.

Tomorrow is measurement time too, looking forward to hopefully being smaller :)

46th bit form me

Oops its been a feww days since I updated! Been rather busy which is good :)

Lets see, since saturdays post I have been going great!

Saturday night I ate an off milo yoghurt at the end of the day that made rather il for two days so for those two I barely ate so didnt even get to my points each day, I didnt excercise Sunday as was way too ill but Monday I did my Body balance class and about 5 minutes on the bike. Then a 45 minute walk in the evening. Tuesday felt better so ate about 22-24 points for the day. My legs were so sore form the BB class though so I only walked yesterday, did 3 trips to and from school so about 50 minutes all up then went for a 40 minute walk with the neighbour in the evening.

Today so far have had a bowl of nutrigrain (3.5) coffee (.5) pita pizza (7.5) diet coke (0) Banana (1.5) 3 squares chocolate (2) Dinner will be silverside (4) and vegies (1) so thats 20 points for the day planned. I will have some sort of snack later, probably an orange and some rice cakes with vegemite (2) and will go to the gym tonight and do a workout.

45th bit from me

Ok back wiht food update as promised :)

This mornign was a coffee and two pieces of toast with ham, tomato, cheese and chilli. (5) lunch was 2 steamed dim sims (3) blast Joey for bringing fish and chips home for lunch! and about 3 chips (.5) so was good will power for me. Hot chips are my absolute downfall I would eat them most days if I could! Then I had a ww beef burgundy meal (2) and a couple of fruities (.5) and 4 anchovy fillets (1) yes I adore anchovies, just eaten righ form the jar they are so delicious and I have to stop myself from eating the entire jar in one sitting! Its not just the fat content that stops me but the fact they are so salty they could induce a heart attack! lol
Dinner tonight will be a marinated chicken fillet and steamed vegies (4) I meant to grab a can of diet coke but forgot, might pop and get one later.
so thats atotal of 12 points so far so leaves me 10 points to play with. Oh oops also had coffee so minus (.5) and will go cut an orange now and eat it so (.5) so 9 pointsleft. Thats good as I bought some fetta and sun driued tomatoes so will do a little plate to have wiht my movie tonight.

Now my BIG NEWS!!!!! I went to the gym today and i ran for 10 MINUTES straight! Do you know how fantastic that is! I am seriously very excited and proud! I can run! Being able to run/jog for 10 plus minutes will help my fitness and my weight so its exciting :) plus I thought it would take me ages ot get to 10 minutes. Before i left for the gym joey said to me, when you run just run through the hard part and once through it you can keep going. So at around 2 and a half minutes when I usually start to struggle I just thought OK susan you CAN make it to 5, c'mon legs keep going, so once at 5 mnutes I was ina good rhythm and my legs no longer ached so i just kept going! I was dripping with sweat at the end but I felt great!
I actually had a very good workout at the gym today really pushed myself, figured I can work as my own personal trainer :) Once I had done the 10 minute run I felt inspired to work harder!

So thats me for another day :)

Well weigh in yesterday was OK. I lost 100 grams. It is definatly better than a gain and the scales are heading in the right direction all be it rather slowly :(

I blew right out yesterday at lunch too and had a yummy steak and vegies (this part was OK) but then had a death by chocolate for dessert! Granted the only other thing I ate all day was toast and tuna and cheese for dinner and osme ww nibblies late last ngiht but heck still nto real good.

Hope the excercise I did will help balance itout as I wlaked to and form ww so 1 hour and 20 minutes tehn also walked ot the video stroe and back last night so another 25 minutes.

another good day :)

quick today as I am off to play sims :)

Breakfast was toast and ham cheese tomato and chilli, lunch was a ww beef burgundy meal, had fruit again, then went to gym and did treadmill and bike and rowing machine for 45 minutes then hoem for tea, had a tiny taste of the pasta I made for the others then had a thai beef salad, sititng here iwht a beer now :)

Weigh in tomorrow, feeling confident for at least some sort of loss!

42nd bit from me

Yesterday:
Was a good day. Ate well, had bacon and egg toasted sandwich for breakfast, gosh cant remmeber what lunch was??? ummm.... oh yes a ww meal the chickpea curry one, dinner was risotto very delicious :)
Went for a big walk at lunchtime for 1 hour.

Today: been good again :) Breakfast was a shake and a coffee, thenlunch was ham and salad roll and side salad, had soem rice crackers and salasa, a coupel of piece sof furit over the day, and for dinner was a really noodle and vegie stir fry!

Went to the gym tonight worked out for 1 hour and 40 minutes, felt good and I can say I am feelign stronger! I coped much easier than 2 weeks ago when I started with my sit ups I can now do two lots of 20 sit ups reasonably well.
I ran for 3 minutes and 15 seconds straight on the treadmill, will aim to better that each time. I then walk til i have my breath back and run again for as long as I can and try to so that 3-4 times, today though I was tired and only managed 2 lots of running and the rest wlaking.

I really hope I have aloss this week will be dissapointing to have gained :( I am almost sure I have lost though, I know all of my clothes are loser, in another week or two i will get some of the smaller clothes out and see how much closer to fitting they are!

41st bit from me

well starting to feel much better finally! Still have a stuffy head but have some energy now!

Yesterday had my neighbours son's 1st bday party, was fine a bbq and I ate just a small plate for lunch so didnt go overboard, didnt pig out on anythign bad wit the snacks either so was pleased.
Lamb shanks for tea last night that were really really yummy.

Today has been good, went to a body balance class this morning,and did about 20 minutes all up on the bike too. Foodwise had some left over lamb chanks, toast wiht tomato ham and cheese and chow mein for dinner, even had enough points left for applie pie and cream for dessert! Had soem fruit today, an apple and an orange, have noticed being winter I dont eat as much fresh fruit, I eat heaps of vegies but need to keep the fruit going too.
Oh went for a wlak wiht my neighbour after dinner too for 40 minutes.

So feeling very back on track now, have my focus again :)

39th bit from me

still not much to add, still sick. No weigh in this week as ws sleepig this mornign at weigh in time and plus couldnt go as am definatly contagious. Allowed myself a souvlaki last night as I certainly wasnt cooking and dh was workign late so take away it was. Sending dh out today to do some shopping so that he has some easy stuff ot make for the kids over the next day or two.

Have done no excercise at all for the last 2 days and am misisng it even though i am sick! I might get out later get osme fresh air and go for a short walk.

Oh I had chocolate too last ngiht, not an overload but was craving it due to feelign crap and allowed myself to have it guilt free...

38th bit from me

Feeling tired and crappy as I have a head cold so this will be a short post.

Yesterday was good, took the kids ot the museum, had a coffee while out ad ate about 3 chips fomr the kids bowl otherwise was fine as I ate lunch before I went out.
Last ngiht had a casserole beef bourgounon or somehting like that from the new ww cookbook it was delicious but needs to be cooked a bit longer next time as the onions were a bit firm still.

Today feeling crappy and would really like take away for tea, a nice spicy pizza..mmmmmm yummmmmmm but I wont do it. I will cook a thai green curry, feel i need somethign really hot to try clear my head. No excercise today as feel too crap :(
Yesterday did a heap though so its ok, went ot gym for 1 and a half hours then walked for 40 minutes in the evening iwht my neighbour so 2 hours 10 minutes yesterday.

Running: ran 3 minutes at the gym then 3 sets of 2 minutes so a small improvement! Little steps :)

37th bit from me

Well the weekend is over and honestly it was a good one :) Ate well excercised lots :)

Have been cooking a few recipes form the new contented tummy cookbook form ww. Had the osso bucco again on the weekend and the potato bake, both were yummy!

Too tired to update too much at the moment so basically have stuck to points each day, went to the gym for 1hr 30 minutes on saturday, went for a 1 hour and 10 minute walk sunday, today went to the gym for 1 hour then walked tonight with dh for 30 minutes.

New excercise total = 1955 almost doubled what my aim was!

Oh there is somethign to post! I started running at the gym on Saturday! I wanted to try running a while again and attempt to buid it up over time to eventually be able to run 5 km non stop. Now i want to be abel to run for 20 minutes wihtout stopping which is roughly 5 kms anyway. So I got to just over 2 minutes on Saturday then came hoem and updated the ipod with aheap of upbeat songs to try running to each week at the gym! lets see how long it takes til i can run 20 minutes straight!

36th bit from me

well i gained :( But its ok I am seriously fine wiht it. I have my period and always weigh more when I do plus I did on average 1 and half hours of excercise every day t his last week and in that was 3 days of weights! I have to have built some muscle and well we all know muscle weighs more than fat :) so Hopefuy there is fat gone and muscle in its place :)

Food wise today have been good, had a shake this morning, then toast with ham and cheese and otmato for brunch, then a bean and corn salad, then some sushi/sashimi when out earlier. Had an orange also and some rice crackers. Tea is the potato bake from the new ww cookbook, if it looks nice I'll take a pic :) and chicken thigh fillet and steamed vegies or a salad or both :)

I wlaked for one hour on my way to ww then 40 minutes home. So thats todays excercise :)

1 more sleep til weigh in! Yes I am going to go this week! I seriously tossed up not going due to my period but heck I am going to go and well if I have gained a litte its no stress, heck even if its a lot as I have excercised every day this week for well over an hour EVERY day! So there has t be some muscle built there too!

Today: had toast tomato, ham, cheese for breakfast, ww meal for lunch and some salad, choc frog, apple, packet of nibblies, half a mini sausage roll (lol Liam didnt want it) then fish and vegies for tea. Went to the gym and worked out for 1 hour and 40 minutes as was annoyed at Joey at the time so worked off the stress :) Also walked to school this morning so a heap of excercise again today!

back again :) Feeling a bit better this afternoon, have steered clear of the chocolate so far :) Tea was yummy too.

Excercise i did well, walked for 1 hour and 20 minutes before lunch and then walked for 40 minutes tonihgt wiht the neighbour. so 2 hours worth today! It was really cold though tonight, might have ot wear a beanie next time, lol not a good look I tell you!

I bought some cards and a little box to sort a heap of my favorite recipies so its easier to look through when I get bored wiht what I am eating. Might go have a bath and start work on that now :)

Monday night I did cook the risotto was very yummy.
went for a 40 minute walk with my neighbour in the evening on Monday also.

Tuesday: ate well, shake for breakfast before I headed to the gym, worked out for 1 hour and 20 minutes and felt great all be it I am sore today! Lunch was a bowl of soup, oh yes I made a big pot of soup Monday night, mums old recipe, was yummy! Dinner last night was a pork and noodle and vgie stir fry, yum again, oh and treated myself to a choc frog yesterday and a coupe of wines after dinner, all still in points so great!

Today: Walked dd to school, not going to the gym today need a rest day i think as am quite sore in my arms. Breakfast was a bacon and egg toasted sandwhich, was good as ww bacon makes all the difference points wise! Have got noodles for lunch, left overs form last ngiht and then tonight for tea will be a chicken burger and salad.

Best go clean my hellhole of a house, its seriously looking atrocious!

Back again :)

Ergh was bad lasy night, dh bought home chinese and I had a couple of steamed dim sims! Really have to make an effort to stick to points for the rest of the week now! and work hard at the excercise!

Today has been great, had toast, ham cheese tomato chilliu for breakfast, had a chicken salad for lunch and not sure whats for tea yet havent got naythign out yet, actually must work that out before I get ot the end of this post!

Went to the gym this morning, did a warm up on the bike before heading to the body balance class, was great, coped better than I expected but yes it was still very hard work!

Ok now dinner....mmmmm....ummmm...willg o look in my recipe books and be back in a monet..................ok cant find my new ww cookbooks anywhere, kids have probably hidden them! So rissotto it is! Chicken, leek, musroom, spinach and roast pumpkin.

31st bit from me

Ok the weekend :)

Yesterday I ate really wel duirng the day as I knew I had an engagement party to go to in the evening and knew I was going to be drinking red wine :) I saved u some points in the day or two prior and made sure I had a low point yet filling breakfast and lunch and dinner too that day. Headed off to the party with 17 or so points to play with. Drank most of that in wine but was very very proud of myself as I didnt pig out on bad food at all! I declined all of the finger food as it went around and then ate some nibblies later in the ngiht, then when the platter wiht cut up vegies and dips came out i got stuck right in lol!

Today though being the day after and feelign a bit seedy I caved and had kfc for lunch, had a zinger and a small chips and a diet pepsi so could have been worse. I had a good breakfast and dinner so my only downfall of the day and well i havent had it in so long and to be honest it wasnt that great!

I went to the gym for my program start today and had a couple of trainers go through my program wiht me, a much more positive experience than last week at the gym! I really liked both of them, they were so very helpful and positive and supportive! Yay! I asked if I have to see the guy who did my plan again and they said it would be wise to have him do my first reassessment but then no i can chose someone else. Also I do not have ot be weighed there again they said to just tell them instead what my current ww weight is and they will go by that instead.

so a 1 hour and 10 minute workout at the gym and a 25 minute walk this evening. Oh and a 45 minute walk saturday afternoon before going out.

Got to put ina good effort this week now til friday to hopefully still get a los after waivering off track a little!

30th bit form me

well went to the gym. Wasn't great to be honest!

The guy who did my review needs some educating in personal skills I reckon! I got weighed tested for fitnes and all my measurements done. measurements were very similar ot ones I had doen at home, some smaller some slightly bigger but nonly 1 or so cms either way, will stick wiht my hoe ones for comparing.
Now the bit that annoyed me most. He asked to step on the scales which were a dodgy old style regular bathroom scales that were quite clearly wrong as they said i was 90 kilos!!! lol I said ot him i didnt care what his scales said as i had attended weight watchers in the morning and will go by what they weigh me as I dont want to weigh on different scales all the time, he ignored me and didnt even answer me! He put my weight down as 86.5! blah anyway.
Then he did the fitness test and my resting heart rate was quite high (ok it was 91bpm so very hgih!) but it was at 70 bpm before he made me uncomfy! So it wrecked my fitness test result and it came out I was very unfit, down at the 'poor' level! blah to hima gain! He said what did I expect for osmeone who did no excercise! I said to him 'uh actually I have been walking everyday for 3-4 months now for on aavergae 45-1 hour a day!' again no response, i think he thought i was speaking shit!

Anyway not fussed as he is only one instructor there, there are others and heck I just need my workout done for me!

So excercise!
Last ngiht I ended up going for a half hour wlak wiht the neighbour after I did my post, then today I did 35 cardio at the gym after my assessment. So dddaaadddadadada

woohoo! I LOST 1.6 KILOS!!!! yay! Feel great about that!

This is the least I have weighed since starting ww at the start of the year! I am currently 83.2 kilos! Not long before I become a 70's girl again! woohoo cant wait and its certainly great motivation to keep going!

28th bit from me

oooh ok another week over! weigh in is tomorrow! I think I have lost this week I certainly believe I deserve to have!

Today:
This morning mel came over and we walked ot the gym so she could join up. Was running late so i had the remains of some salad that was int he fridge for breakfast. The wlak to and form the gym is 1 and a half hours so a great walk! Stayed at the gym in the creche for a while so our children could get familiar with it, they seemed to enjoy being there, hope so tomorrow is the first day I leave them there!

Walked back home and made some toasted ham cheese and tomto sandwiches for lunch with some salad and some oven fries, a yummy nto too high point lunch! oh and the can of diet coke ofcourse!

Dinner was fish and vegies, which is pretty standard thursday night fare now, had flake tonight, steamed it with spices was yummy.

Also walked tiahna to and form school today so another 1/2 hours wlaking on top so a full 2 hours wlaking today! was thinkign of going to the gym tonight for a swim but think thats enough for one day!

snacks were the ww choc crisp bar and the nibblies and half a bana, going t have a madarin in a moment. Am under points by about 4-5 today but have an engagement party sat night that I wanted to save a couple for.

Will do my measurements aswell tomorrow and see what I have lost in cms over the past 4 weeks since starting this!

27th bit form me

OK yesterday first: Biggest thing about today is went and joined the GYM! Woohoo am actually looking forward to going! I enrolled the kids in the creche there too and they seem to have some vacanices regularly so should make it easier to go. I also rang Mel and she is going to join up tomorrow and we are going to commit to 3 days a week there together, if we go more its a bonus but def committing to 3 days.

Foodwise yesterday was good, had eggs and mushroom for breakfast, salad and a ww beef burgundy for lunch and roast lamb for dinner, had a few wines with dinner but was ok. Waked to and form the gym too which was 1 and a half hours and also wlaked Tiahna to school so plenty of excercise.

Today: Breakfast was toast ham cheese tomato and chilli, lunch was a baked potato whilst out, had half a scroll with coffee too and then tonight for tea was the ww burgundy meal again and salad and a few chips as the kids had fish and chips for tea.

Went for a walk in the rain after I picked Tiahna up from school, was only 25 minutes but better than no walk!

Oh went shopping today with Kylie and i bought soe new trackies, a size 16 so that was good and they fit well! last pair I bougth were an 18 so thats a good sign :) Got two jackets too both a 16 too which is again great! I will need some more tops though and a cuple more pairs of trackies if going to the gym, will wait though now for around 2-3 weeks to see if i lose some more and maybe go donw to a 14!

26th bit from me

well weekend is over and i wasnt too bad :) No take way which is a great thing, had a few wines last night but all wihtin points so am hoping it has no ill effects.

I cooked fomr the new ww book 'contented tummies' and made the osso bucco on mash and it was soooooooo delicious! Definatly going to make that one again! Lucky there were no left overs as I would have eaten them!

Took the kids ot the childrens farm today and I packed lunches for all of us, I was glad I did as when we got there there was a kiosk and they sold hot chips and hotdogs and i held back! I made some yumy salads and had some tuna also.

Not much else to report, walked each day, 40 minutes sunday and 45 minutes.

Going down tomorrow morning to the gym to join up, looking forward to that!

I have friends coming for tea otmorrow night, going to get a couple of boneless lean legs of lamb to cook and hopefully they dont bring wine! lol.

Oh and bloody fil keeps offering me beer at every moment, then every time i say no he carries on a bit ;why not?' me - 'well i am tryign to not to drink as much' him - 'ah but a beer is ok' me - 'I dont want one thanks' repeat that agin on almost every day! lol. I told him the other day I am limiting myself to weekends only and one ngiht in the week where i can have a glass or so of wine. Thats not just good for my weight i am sure its good for my health too :)

Oh did new pics too, yesterday! I was wearing a pair of size 14 jeans Kylie gave me a while back that didnt fit before! Granted they are tight round the waist but I still wore them!

25th bit from me

had a good day today.

had 2 eggs and some mushroom, spinach and tomato for breakfast.
had left over fried rice for lunch, then a slad for afternoon tea, oh a banana in there somewhere.
tea was apita bread pizza oh and pre-tea was a small plate of prawns.
I also let myself have some chocolate todaythere was a plain choccie frog in the fridge starign at me so I ate it :) All well within points today.

have gone back down to 22 points a day this week to see if that helps get things moving downwards again. Today I have 1 point left but earnt a few excercising on top though must admit am not hungry as the pizza was so filling!

excercise was housework for 2 hours (including scrubbing of all florrs and vaccuuming so that was about 3 or more points worth!
and i wlaked for 35 minutes.

Oh spoke ot joey about joining the gym and he is in support of it, we know it will pull fnances a bit tighter but its worth it for my helath and some time out for me. Will go and join up on Tuesday or maybe even tomorrow! we'll see :)

24th bit form me

well crap :( I GAINED .8 of a kilo!

That sucks I tell you.

I am blaming it wholeheartedly on last friday nights pizza and wine and chips! every other day i was within points :(

It is really dissapointing but hey I am NOT giving upo!

I went and had a look at the gym after my meeting and will most likely join up after school holidays (its hard ot get care in their cc over school holidays) so will be joining that in a month. I am keen on that idea as as i lose I do want to tone and strengthen.

Today has been great food wise
toast ham tom, chilli and cheese for breakfats as uaual, coffee and then mushroom and bok choy.brocollini for lunch the same as the other nights dinner and tea tongiht is home made fried rice and honey soy chcken form the syms books, havent made it in ages so am looking forward to it.

bit worried abotu the long weekend and Joey being around more as i dont want to be tempted. he also had a gain of 1.6 kilos so I reckon we should work together to be good :)

23rd bit form me

ergh weigh in is tomorrow! I am little nervous abot this week due to the pizza and souvlaki! Souvlaki night I was still wihtin points so should be fine butpizza night i went well over! Every other day i have neem fine and made sure I have stayed under points and I have excercised every day!

Man all that vegie eating yesterday and today certainly has reminded me my bowels work just fine :) lol seriously I have pooed soooo much and my farts reek like no tomorrow.... yeah yeah tmi i know but hey its all part of it, I imagie my system is reasonably cleaned out anyway!

Today: I had toast, ham, cheese, tomato and chilli for breakfast (if you havent worked out yet I am not much of a cereal person, prefer toast for breakfast or something cooked!) Then half a banana.

Lunch was one of those light lunch packs, i had a pasta salad one, worked out to be only 3.5 points. I then had some of the point free soup and a garden salad.

Dinner was fish and vegies as pictured here.


I poached the fish in water wiht some soy, lemon juice, fresh chilli and fresh coriander and a little ginger (have you seen a pattern in my flavours of food yet :))
Brain (FIL) buys fish each thursday for tea, I am tryign to convonce him to buy soemthign other than grenadier, whilst i do like it I would like to try somwthing different, he only buys it because it is cheapest!

Excercise, I went for a walk after jye went home this afternoon, just a quick brisk 30 minute walk, was good, was fresh and just getitng dark, felt good when I got home.

22nd bit form me

To finish off yesterday: had a yummy yummy rissotto for tea, chicken, mushroom, leek, spinach and roast pumpkin :) was really nice I even had a small second serve :) My neighbour came for our nightly walk after dinner, so another 45 minutes in there. I came hoem to watch my shows and sank a few glasses of red and pigged out on popcorn, all in all not bad and points wise was still ok, but only just!

Today: Had a shake for breakfast and a banana as I had to do things today and was rushed. Made us all lunch though to take with us. I decided i wanted to eat loads of vegies today so made a big salad for myself for lunch, had olives and avocado in it so some good oils :) I then stopped in at a girlfreinds for coffee and scoffed 3 arrowroot biscuits, so much for just fruit and vegies today! Oh I also made a pot of point free soup this morning so I would have it ready for when I got home and would be hungry :)
Had the soup for afternoon tea, then made for dinner some bokchoy, brocollini and mushrooms.

recipe:
one bunch bok choy
1/2 bunch broccolini
small mushrooms
large flat mushrooms
shitake mushrooms
chilli, garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, ginger and a dob of marg/butter

throw all the spices/flavours into a frypan, add the dob of butter (i use nuttlex) pop mushrooms on top, turn on low heat and pop lid on frypan, cook for approx 10 minutes turning once.
In a wok add a little water and a squeeze of lime juice, bring to boil, throw broccolini in and cover for 30 seconds, then add washed bok choy in and cover for 30 seconds.
pop greens on a plate, pop mushrooms on top, voila done! so simple yet very yummy!

I only wlaked to school this morning so not a lot of excercise, was hoping neighbour would come knock for a walk but no luck :( so only 15 minutes added.

Oh meant to add and have a whinge! Today I craved KFC bad!! I LOVE the hot and spicy chicken when they do it and I keep seeing the ads on tv for it and drooling! Today i swear it was haunting me as I swear I passed at least 5 KFC outlets! I was soooo tempted yet held back and didnt get it! I so want to try one of the new spicy wrap things they have going!!! will power will power!

21st bit from me

to finishh off yesterday: I had chicken and vegies for tea, had extra chicken so was 6.5 points. Then my neighbour came to wlak her dogs so we walked for 45 minutes, she said she will come again tonight, hope so I enjoy the evening walks, its quiet and I like chatitng to someone when I walk :)
Had a ww pudding wiht a scoop of ice cream for dessert was under points by about 2 for the day.

Today: Had toast, tomatoe, ham, cheese and chlli for breakfast, and 2 coffees :) I walked Tiahna to school and will walk to pick her up as my car is making funny noises! Must ring our mechanic friend ot come check it.

I went out this mornign after breakfast to pick up my save water prize of a shower head, picked up my sisters too whilst there, on the ay hoem I rang Joey to pop a steak in the micrwave to defrost to make lunch!

Lunch was this!


a yummy thai beef salad
recipe:
piece of steak (I didnt measure but wasnt very thick so guessing around 100-150 gms)
salad ingredients (I used mixed salad leaves, red and green capsicum, mushroom, tomato and cucumber)
fresh coriander leaves
dressing:
dash sesame oil
tamari soy sauce
fish sauce
lemon juice
ginger
garlic
chilii
little vinegar (i used white balsamic dressing)

To cook:
toss salad ingredients in bowl, mix dressing ingredients in seperate jug, season steak with salt and pepper, cook steak on high heat on griddle pan for 2 minutes each side, then sit for 3 or so minutes before slicing.
put salad on plate, slice steak and put on top of slaad, then pour dressing over top.

was VERY yummy!
Just had water wit it, contemplating another coffee now :)

Tonight for tea will be rissotto.

20th bit form me

woohoo my 20th entry :) this is definatly a record!

Ok my weekend :) Actually it was petty good. Saturday I was good, went out for afternoon tea wiht my gran, had a bite of the girls choc eclairs and then ate a sweet potato and vegie pattie with a skinny cappacino. Tea was good, roast with dad, didnt drink too much wine at all, was tired so was good.
Sunday morning got up and made all the boys breakfast, did it all on the bbq, love the new bbq with the side hot plate, meant I could do the mushrooms and spinach inthe fry pan without have ot come inside. Had a soy and linseed roll with mushroom, spinach, a little bacon and one egg, had a glass of real soft drink wiht it but thats cool :) Lunch I just had soup as was still tired and feeling a bit off, Sunday night we had my nieces concert so Joey orderd fish and chips, I had a souvalki but still stayed iwthin points as only had soup for lunch and didnt eat anythign when I got home after the concert.

Today has been good, had a shake for breakfast as was runing late, had to drop off at school and kinder then go drop negs of for soem reprints. Home then pasta for lunch from some stuff i froze the other week, tea tonight will be fish and vegies or chicken and vegies.

Excercise I walked 45 minutes on Saturday, 45 minutes yesterday and so far 15 minutes today. When I went to drop off my reprints I parked a good distance away and walked wiht Liam on the hip seat so a good litlle extra.

Oh mel and I did our measurements Friday ngiht, she too wants to lose some weight before the wedding so we will get together again a week before it and see how we have done.

19th bit form me

ergh! I blew out last night!

I couldnt be bothered cooking, got the kids maccas and pinched some of their chips then when my friend came we got PIZZA! I havent had real pizza in such a long time, I ordered my fav too, salami, capsicum, olives anchovies etc mmmmm it was so yummy! I ate half a large pizza so could have been worse! Then drank a bottle of wine whilst we watched dvds and ate half a packet of red rock chips! Well over my daily points so am going to have ot make an extra effort tonight to not blow out again as we have people coming for tea, though I am cooking roast chicken so food wise will be ok, yet I know everyone will be drinking!

I already know tomorrow morning is bacon, eggs, mushroom tomato spinach etc so I have grabbed a packet of ww bacon for me so I can join in breakfast without guilt (the boxing is on and Joey has ma
